A few years ago my family received word that my beautiful 19 year old cousin had suffered a massive heart attack and died in her sleep. Although that side of our family has long been plagued with poor heart health, Chris had shown no signs until the day before. That night she turned in early to rest in hopes of feeling better in the morning, but morning didn't come for Chris. We know heart disease affects millions of Americans, we know heart disease is the number one killer of American women, but we never really think about heart disease being prevalent among young, otherwise seemingly healthy kids. None of us is immune to the dangers of this terrible disease. I'm asking for your support to honor Chris' memory and to help make a difference in the lives of everyone impacted by heart disease. Please join our fight and help me raise money for the 2020-2021 Tulsa Heart Ball.
