My grandfather, Jack Staiger, battled heart disease for over eight years. He recently passed away in January of 2014. One of my most memorable moments was taking him to a Cleveland Indians baseball game while he was receiving treatment from the Cleveland Heart Clinic. This clinic has been ranked number one in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery for over 21 years. While he was under the care of the Cleveland Clinic, I realized this disease affects so many people around the world daily. I also realized this isn't just an old person's disease and that even now as teenagers, we can begin producing heart-healthy habits and incorporating them into our daily lives.
I would like to ask you to please help me raise money for the American Heart Association's mission.
